Setting Up Your ZuluRewards Wallet: Step-by-Step Guide

Setting up your Xaman wallet

Your ZuluRewards balance is sent to your own Xaman wallet on 30 November every year. To receive it, you need an activated Xaman wallet with a ZULU trustline, and your wallet address recorded on your JustBull profile.

It takes about ten minutes, and you only need to do it once. After that, every year’s balance goes to the same address automatically.

What you will need

  • The Xaman app — free, and non-custodial, which means you hold the keys and nobody else can access your funds.
  • About 1.2 XRP — 1 XRP to activate the account and 0.2 XRP to open the ZULU trustline. These are network reserves held in your account, not fees. They stay yours.

Step 1 — Install Xaman

Download Xaman from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Search for Xaman (formerly XUMM).

Step 2 — Create your account and back up your secret numbers

Xaman will show you a set of secret numbers. Write them down on paper and store them somewhere safe and offline.

This is the one step you cannot undo. Your secret numbers are the only way to access your wallet. If you lose them, your ZULU is gone permanently. JustBull cannot see them, cannot reset them and cannot recover your funds. Never share them with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from JustBull. We will never ask you for them.

Step 3 — Buy some XRP

You need at least 1.2 XRP in the wallet. Buy it on an exchange that accepts South African Rand and withdraw it to your Xaman address.

VALR is one option that takes ZAR by EFT. Other exchanges work equally well — use whichever you prefer.

Note: JustBull does not sell XRP and does not handle the transaction. If you use a referral link we have shared, we may receive a small credit. We are not recommending one exchange over another.

Send slightly more than the minimum so you have a margin for transaction fees.

Step 4 — Open the ZULU trustline

A trustline is permission for your wallet to hold a specific token. Without a ZULU trustline your wallet cannot receive ZULU.

In Xaman, add a trustline for ZULU, issuer:

rLcoMGVSZDWz3rWheEbPpeQMq2MNfmUoLb

Step 5 — Add your address to your JustBull profile

In Xaman, tap Receive and copy your address. It starts with r.

Log in to your JustBull client portal, open the ZuluRewards page, and paste it into the wallet address field.

Paste it — do not type it. An XRP Ledger transaction cannot be reversed, so an address with a typo means funds nobody can retrieve. We check the format, but we cannot tell whether it is your wallet. Only you can.

You do not need a destination tag when sending to your own wallet.

Only the primary contact on an account can set or change the wallet address, and the field is locked from 16 November to 7 December each year while the annual withdrawal is processed.

What happens on 30 November

  1. We check that we hold a valid address for you.
  2. We send your remaining balance from JustBull’s account to yours, on-chain.
  3. Your CRM wallet balance goes to zero.
  4. You can verify the payment yourself on the public XRP Ledger.

If we do not hold a valid address, your balance is forfeited 7 days after the deadline. Balances do not carry over to the following year. See the ZuluRewards Programme Terms for the full rules.

Can JustBull set this up for me?

No. You create your own wallet and buy your own XRP. We will happily walk you through every step on a call, send screenshots, and answer any question — but we never take custody of your funds or your keys. That is the whole point of self-custody: it only works if it is genuinely yours.
